Kristina L. Fattoum, Esq.

703-782-8903
Richmond, VA

Kristina L. Fattoum has concentrated her practice on defending physicians and other healthcare providers in medical malpractice litigation since 2010. Kristina’s clients include physicians from a wide array of specialties, their practice groups, community hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and CRNAs. Her practice also includes representation of healthcare providers before the Virginia Board of Medicine and advising healthcare groups on federal and state regulatory compliance matters.

For physicians and other providers who dedicate themselves to delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care, being sued is a trying disruption to both their professional and personal lives. Kristina strives to effectively counsel her clients to alleviate the pressures of litigation, while mounting a thoughtful, tailored defense to these complex, sympathetic, and high-exposure cases. Her effective representation and judgment have culminated in numerous defense jury verdicts and pretrial dismissals.

Kristina’s trial success has been recognized by the Virginia Medical Law Report and Virginia Lawyers Weekly. Virginia Super Lawyers magazine also selected Kristina as a Super Lawyer in 2024 and as a Rising Star in 2014-2019 in the area of Medical Malpractice Personal Injury Defense. No more than 2.5% of the lawyers in Virginia are selected to receive this honor.
